Friday night, February 5 in front of a huge crowd at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, FL and an International Pay-Per-View Audience, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Sport, presented ‘KNUCKLEMANIA’ headlined by the tremendous victory by Britain Hart over Combat Sports Superstar Paige VanZant, Dat Nguyen’s world title win over Johnny Bedford and Chris Leben’s stoppage of Quentin Henry in the final bout of his illustrious career.

Dave Feldman, President of BKFC

“I promised this would be a great card and we delivered. The rest of the sports world will now take us more seriously, this was a phenomenal show. It was a great night for BKFC. Every one of the fighters truly came to fight and each one of them delivered.”

“Paige VanZant fought her ass off tonight but Britain Hart was just a little better and won the fight.”

Britain Hart

“This is unreal. I’m so thankful for the opportunity. I’m tired of being the underdog but it just shows if you work hard enough anything is possible. I’ve never been hit as hard as Paige hit me tonight. Full credit to her. However, this is truly a dream come true for me. I love BKFC and I’m very excited to fight here again.”

Dat Nguyen

“To be called a world champion after 20 years is a great feeling. We had this plan two years ago when I drove to Tampa to meet with Dave Feldman. I’m very grateful for this opportunity. I’m a man of my word, I say what I’m going to do and I do what I say. Johnny took a lot of tough punches from me. BKFC is taking over and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”

Johnny Bedford

“Hats off to Dat Nyugen. I’m heartbroken but I have no excuses, I just hope I get my rematch. I still feel that belt is mine. I hope everyone enjoyed the fight and I’ll be back for sure.”

Chris Leben

“Thanks to BKFC for the opportunity. Thanks to Quentin for the fight. The fight went exactly how I wanted it to go. I knew it would be a slugfest, he landed some good shots as well. Not much more to say but it was a beautiful way to cap my career. It’s bittersweet but I’m glad I could finish my career in BKFC.”

Quentin Henry

“We just went at it, it was the war that we both expected. I didn’t want the fight stopped and to discredit Chris so I’m glad we continued fighting. It wasn’t fun but how many people can say they’ve been knocked out by Chris Leben.”
