BKFC signs Russian bare knuckle star Ekaterina Makarova
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Sport, announced today the signing of Russian Bare-Knuckle Star, Ekaterina Makarova to an exclusive promotional deal.
“We are keeping a close eye on a lot of talent developing in Russia and looking to bring the best to BKFC,” said Dave Feldman, President of BKFC. “Ekaterina is just that, one very tough lady who has tremendous ability and is as strong and skilled as they come. This marks our second signing from Russia in as many months as she joins Evgeniy Kurdanov who joined our team in March.”
The 24-year-old Makarova is a native of Moscow, Russia. Fighting in the featherweight division she is a veteran of seven MMA fights and is undefeated competing for the Russian Bare-Knuckle promotion, Top Dog. She is expected to make her debut under the BKFC banner in June.
Makarova joins MMA Star Pearl Gonzalez as the newest signings from BKFC.
BKFC returns this Friday night, April 30 with BKFC-17 on Friday, April 30, 2021 from the Boutwell Auditorium in Birmingham, AL and live on the BKTV APP, (9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT) in addition to globally on FITE PPV.
