Brandon Lambert: This (bare knuckle) is what I was put on this Earth to do

Brandon Lambert recently joined James Lynch of MyMMANews.com to discuss his upcoming 135-pound fight against Jarod Grant at BKFC: KnuckleMania on Feb. 5 in Tampa Florida.
"I'm on cloud nine," Lambert said of finally being able to make his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut.
"I've been working on this contract for a while. I knew that it would come through, I just didn't know when," he said.
Lambert discussed how the worldwide COVID pandemic actually forced him to go from mixed martial arts to bare knuckle.
"I went to a couple bare knuckle events and I was like, 'sh*t, this is what I was put on Earth to do."
Lambert's opponent, Grant, has fought several times for BKFC, recording two knockout wins. While Lambert may be making his debut, he is not letting Grant's success get in his head.
“I’m going to walk through this kid. I’m grown a grown-ass man and this dude’s a boy," Lambert said. "He’s going to feel my power, he’s going to feel my force and I’m going to break him mentally. He’s either going to sit down or I’m going to lay him down. But it’s going to be vicious.”
Lambert also talks about how retired professional mixed martial artist, King Mo helped save his life. While this will be his BKFC debut, Lambert is extremely confident heading into the matchup.
