Chris Leben: "I will fight anybody in bare knuckle"

Fresh off a 25-second knockout victory at Bare Knuckle FC 5, Chris "The Crippler" Leben joins Split Decision MMA Podcast to talk about the fight.

Listen below:

Leben, who is the head instructor at The Arena Gym in San Diego, knocked out Justin Baesman in his first fight with the BKFC promotion on April 6.

"When you are fighting bare knuckle, you take what you can get," Leben said of the quick win.

"The Crippler" had a storied history with the UFC, appearing on the very first season of the Ultimate Fighter back in 2004. Leben competed 33 times professionally under MMA rules, producing fights against several notable names in the sport to include Anderson Silva, Wanderlei Silva, Michael Bisping, and Josh Koscheck.

"My striking skills are far better than they were when I was in the UFC," the 38-year old fighter said.

"I will fight anybody in bare knuckle," Leben said when asked if there is anyone he wants to fight next.

Bare Knuckle FC President David Felman recently told MMA Junkie Radio that he would like to match Leben against the newly signed Brennan Ward. The fight has not has been made official. Bare Knuckle FC 6 will take place in June, and seeing how Leben did not sustain any injuries in his last fight, he should be ready to go to welcome Ward to the promotion.
