"Savage" Union of Friends: Jenny Savage meets Sheena Starr in bare knuckle debut at BKFC 15

With three bare knuckle bouts under her belt, Sheena Starr is no stranger when it comes to gloveless combat sports competition.

Starr is currently the only active female competitor to have participated in bouts at three different weight classes, making her one of the more experienced fighters in the still very young, but extremely popular and fast-growing sport of bare knuckle.

In three short days, Starr enters the squared circle once again as she welcomes newcomer, Jenny "Savage" Clausius, to the sport. The fight takes place on Friday, December 11 at the Biloxi Civic Center in Biloxi, MS and broadcast live on the BKTV App.

At 37 years of age, Starr will be an entire decade older than her opponent come fight night, but what makes the fight even more interesting, is that these two ladies are friends.

Earlier this month, Starr went to social media to announce the matchup, stating:

"It's official I have an OPPONENT

Fighting my homegirl

Weird feeling

She's an amazing athlete and a wonderful person and definitely deserving ..don't nobody dare trash talk her or I'll cut you

Come Dec 11th we're going to bare knuckle punchy punchy "

Savage was quick to reciprocate the friendship and the two ladies have been blasting any and all who doubt them or cast stones in their direction.

"I'm honored to share the ring with a legend," Savage said. "Thank you for giving me a shot, momma. I love you."

"Jenny Savage I love you to the moon and back," Starr then stated. "I can't lie I'm excited to see you next week ..I need hugs and shit before we click into warrior mode."

The 27-year-old "Savage" will travel from her home state of Tennessee and just as her opponent, Starr, brings a wealth of professional mixed martial arts experience to the ring.

While Savage and Starr will enter the contest as friends, and more than likely leave the squared-circle in the same fashion as they entered, something is going to give in Biloxi on Friday night.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show fight fans.
